Anyone Used PhuketFerry before?

Hi all,

My wife and I will be on our honeymoon in about 5 weeks in Thailand. We're staying at the Dusit Thani Krabi, and plan to go from there to Phuket.

I see a few ferries available for that trip, but was wondering if anyone has used PhuketFerry.com specifically? Should I book the ferry ahead of time on their website?

Any suggestions are definitely appreciated!

Book at your hotel or a travel desk outside your hotel and you get free pick-up included.

Their website seems to include that if you book online. But maybe it is a much more limited area for the pickup if you're booking online?

I always book with a local travel shop a day or two before, so you know that they know where your hotel/guesthouse is

I recommend booking the ferry or any island trip at the local agents instead of online. You will have more personalized service based on your location, weather and plan. Moreover, from our recent experience, we didn't find any advantage of booking ferry/island trips online in advance.

BTW, Klong Muang Beach area is a little far from more popular Ao Nang beach, but quieter and beautiful.

No need to book online or in advance. Book the night before from any travel agent by the side of the road.
