Have you found that American plug ins and the 240 current work? I will need to charge DVD and phone

standard USA plugs work here...110 current...I always bring along an extension cord for multiple plug ins...and to have things where I WANT them!! Power comes on and off now and then...so watch out for anything that needs to be protected...bring along a surge protector maybe.

Suzan,

Same voltage as here 115 VAC.

The plugs however are our old style two prong side by side, so if your brick charger has a three prong plug-in you will need to stop at the hardware store and pick up a three to two prong adapter before you head out. They cost about two bucks!

But your Converter Plugs in Mexico as US ones have two different size prongs & will not work in many Mexican outlets.
