Hotel questions

I am debating on going to the UFC fight at the Bell MTS Place in December. What search should I use for finding a hotel- Downtown or Exchange District? Also, do you recommend any hotels in the $100 to $150 range?

Easier is to enter the Bell MTS into google maps, and then do a search "nearby" for hotels.

Also, don't forget to convert your U.S. dollar to Cdn when you're looking at prices. The rooms could be less expensive than you think. For instance, you ask for recommendation between $100 and $150. If you are looking at Canadian prices in that range, it converts to $80 - $100 in U.S. funds.

Hello mxfuel,

If you want to be really close, I suggest the Alt Hotel, the Radisson Hotel, The Delta, The Mere Hotel.

Hope that helps!

I recently flew in to Winnipeg for a Jets game and stayed at the Radisson which is next door. Terrific hotel, paid approx $150 and highly recommend it. Can't beat the location!

We just stayed at the delta by marriot and really liked it. Paid $167 plus you had to pay for parking but they are within 2 blocks of your venue. They are connected through a walkway if you dont want to go outside. They also have a good resturant attatched..very good pub type food great prices. Have also stayed at humpry inn and found it also nice but not to the calliber of the delta. You will be happy with your $ exchange(; have fun!!

Thanks for the suggestions. We got rooms for $110 (US) at the Delta

Another question. Would you exchange money from US to Canadian before the event? If yes, do I just go to the bank?

Just use your ATM card at a bank machine.
