End of November and beginning of December will be cool and we should have snow on the ground. I would bring a warm jacket, gloves/mitts, a toque (winter hat), a scarf, and warm boots are always nice, but if you aren't going to spend a lot of time outside, then your shoes will be fine. The temperature should run between 0 to -15, but there have been years where it has been warmer & colder.

We have several indoor museums - the most popular is the Western Development Museum located at Praireland Park on the south side of the city.

There is the Dakota Dunes Casino if you are interested in gambling.

We have a drive through Christmas light show hosted by SIGA called the Enchanted Forest located at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm on the north east side of the city. You drive through the park and view the X-mas light displays.

There is the Festival of Trees (usually at Prairieland Park) - they have Xmas trees decorated with the proceeds going to charity.

We have several theatres and dinner theatres in the city if you want to go out at night.

Of course we have several Curling Clubs as well - if you want to try curling, you can contact a club and rent a sheet of ice.

The Sundog Craft Fair usually runs the first weekend in December at Credit Union Centre - they offer handmade craft items by local artisans.

The Meewasin Valley Authority might have the outdoor skating rink open - located along the riverbank downtown. It will depend on the weather and if they can make ice.

We have our SJHL hockey team the Saskatoon Blades - they will be playing a home game at Credit Union Centre on November 28th.

We have several indoor malls, so you can go shopping. There are lots of things to do, it just depends on what you are interested in.

If you're interested in the arts, there's the Mendell Art Gallery and musical performances. Check www.tcuplace.com and www.usask.ca/music/
