I went to Iqaluit the end of June for a graduation ceremony of 21 Inuit women in the Master of Education program from the University of Prince Edward Island. It was a very moving experience and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I was amazed that there was one paved road and every road led to a dump. It was quite an experience and the people treated us like gold. We stayed at the Frobisher Inn and it was very nice. The first tanker of the season came into the bay on the night of July 1st. I will never forget this experience as it will be one in a lifetime.
