Restaurant in Newquay for this weekend

Please can anyone recommend a restaurant for a group of 7 ladies this weekend. We would ideally like somewhere that serves decent food but isn't too expensive, and with a relaxed atmosphere (so that we can have a few drinkies and enjoy ourselves).

Many thanks.

Lewinnick Lodge at Pentire is lovely, great atmosphere.

Check out

www.eatoutcornwall.com and enter Newquay, they have reviews and menus on there. You will find the ones already mentioned and many more on there.

Not sure of your exact budget but an evening at Jamie Olivers "fifteen" (close to Newquay in watergate Bay) sure would be an evening to remember.

Looks like they still have availability too-

Hi Flump123,

Don't know what kind of food you would all like but there is a new Greek restaurant just opened last weekend. It is opposite Ber ties night club. My Hubby & I went last saturday night, we have never had Greek food before. They advised us on everything and very attentive. Well stocked bar in both English & Greek. The waiters, well!!! Id say for a group of ladies go for it!!! I think For a group you may be better booking. Stavros 01637 876391.Don't forget to pop back & let us know. ENJOY!!

I have just returned from a midweek break in Newquay,Cornwall,staying at the Cotehele Lodge in Newquay which i would recommend highly for fantastic location 400yds from the town centre,great decor,comfortability & wonderful full English Breakfast. I also visited the Stavros Restaurant in Newquay which has recently opened and found the staff extremely helpful,the food probably the closest i have ever had to actually being in Greece,The Greek Islands or Cyprus (and the sun shone as well!)It is so good i have added it to my website;

If you are ever in Newquay a visit should be organised,it is definitely an experience not to be missed....
