The Broads boat trips

We are staying near Filby/Ormesby Broad next week....

Can anyone recommend a good boat trip please? We don't mind travelling to another Broad further away.

Would I have to book up very far in advance? (Hoping I've not left it too late already!!)

There are regular boat trips from Wroxham during the season. https:/…

I would suggest Broads Tours too and yes, always best to book. Lovely boats with facilities.

Choose the middle option, Wroxham and Salhouse Broad tour. Wroxham broad alone is a bit of a short trip and on to Salhouse it just right.

A different option close to Ormesby is a trip on Rollesby Broad from the Waterside restaurant.

I like the Broards Authority trips which are on smaller electric boats;

The Electric Eel trip is very different, leaving from How Hill - buy tickets at 'Toad Hole' or ring/email.

There's also a nice trip (two options) from Fairhaven but you need admission to the gardens too.

Further there's a boat from Ranworth to the nature reserve.

I enjoyed the steam boat trips from the museum at Stalham.

Thank you for your replies. I looked up Wroxham and discovered that we can hire a canoe so, weather permitting, we're going to go for that option. :-)
