There isn't normally an organised firework display on Xmas eve in Liverpool. Most people congregate outside St Georges Hall, or you could go down to the Pier Head.

"What about New years eve Matt? Which is what the OP asked...:)"
Xmas Eve, New Years Eve - it's all the same to me. I'm staying in on both nights ! ;-D
Edited: 11 years agoso no fireworks on new years eve?
"so no fireworks on new years eve?"
Sorry, no.
But if you go down the Pier Head by the Liver Building you might see some fireworks let off across the River Mersey by members of the public.
Or hang out by St Georges Hall opposite Lime St station.
It's not going to be completely dead. We know how to party up here ;-)
Just nothing official going on organised by the council.
Went to pier head, tonight saw a great fire work display in front the liver building , had a walk around Albert dock very quiet , then all of a sudden whoosh people gathered at the pier head,
Quite a spectuclar display, but as previous posts NO AVERTISEMENT before hand,
We saw an amazing fireworks display at midnight when travelling from Childwall fiveways looking down Queens drive towards Sefton Park. It looked so spectacular that we questioned if it was an organised event rather than just a private party.
Thanks to whoever it was, really enjoyed it
