RE: Car Parking Aldeburgh

Hi

I have just booked a cottage for the Easter weekend in Aldeburgh. I have been advised that there is no parking with the property, but that I could try the surrounding roads or Oakley car park on the beach front. I have had a quick look and there appears to be only double yellow lines everywhere in Aldeburgh!!! Does anyone know where there is more than 2 to 4 hour parking in Aldeburgh? Also where I do find a single yellow is it OK to park there on a Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday?

Many thanks

Val

There is parking along the quay toward the Martello Tower. I'm pretty sure its all free along that stretch, Is that anywhere near your cottage?
