We will be flying in to Heathrow airport on a Saturday afternoon. I'd like to go straight to Windsor Castle if I can store my luggage somewhere, any ideas ?
If you check in to a hotel in Windsor, you can store your luggage there.
Windsor Castle can store bags in the cloakroom, but they must be small enough to first pass through the Airport style security. From the Windsor Castle Website:
"The following items may not be brought into Windsor Castle:
· Bicycles, folding bikes, roller-skates or skateboards.
· Pets or animals (excluding service animals)
· Large bags that can not fit through airport-style security scanners"
Another option is booking a car service who will keep your luggage and the transport you to your next destination. (Airport, train station, hotel etc)
Scroll down for information:

The first two I would contact for information would be:
What time do arrive at Heathrow? If you arrive on the Delta fight at 13:20, you might not have much time to visit the castle.

Thank you, I wondered about that too. Do you have any recommendations about which area of London to stay at for a few days? I'm an artist and want to visit the museum's, Tow e r of London , etc.
If you want to stay in London, posting in the London forum would get you better answers.
If you want to spend your first night in Windsor, please elaborate on the number in your party and your budget.
