Farewell Celebration Dinner

We will be finishing up a golf trip in Glasgow in August and will want to top it off with a very fine dinner. Can you please recommend the best restaurants that can reasonably accommodate a group of about 20. Thank you for your suggestions

You could have a private room

Without any idea of the sort of cuisine you would consider to give you a "fine dinner", how about private dining (for a large group) at

The Bothy wouldn't fit the bill of fine dining.

Worth having a look at two fat ladies at the buttery too http://twofatladiesrestaurant.com/buttery - not formal dining, but very good food and a lovely, Scottish atmosphere.

Thank you. These selections look quite good. We have travelled together before ( Scotland, Ireland and N. Ireland ) and frequently find ourselves in a private room, probably for the benefit of the other guests. Actually, we are pretty well behaved and enjoy brief, invited interchanges with the locals, I would say, as a group, we would be looking for an especially well prepared choices of beef, fish or lamb, in a nice setting at a cost of about L100 pp including wine, a drink or two, and tip

I recently arranged a private dinner for 20 in the private dining room of teh Western Club in Royal Exchange Square. My group was from all over the world, with wives and were all impressed with the ambience, the quality of the food and the service
