Hi all
We’d like to visit St Emillion and Bordeaux.
I’m reading the harvest is in September and/or October. That it’s a good time- or not. Weather mixed. And that harvest time is not good in terms of wineries, but is good for fairs?
We are very flexible and visit France a lot. We want to explore both towns, maybe go tour a winery or wine caves. Would rather not go in summer months when we prefer seaside.
We do prefer a busier, lively time.
What time is best in your opinion?
I’d rather not go in heavy rains, and we can book last minute if needed to get the best shot at weather, but flexible.
Thinking early October or Christmas time. But can do spring or any other time.
Thank you.
