Xcom Global mifi???

Bonjour!

I am traveling in June & July with a friend to Caen and Bayeux. She is attending the World Lace Congress in Caen. She is also an online professor for Rutgers University. Her class will be conducted while we are in Europe. We will be in the UK June 21-30 and then Normandy July 1st through the 11th.

We need EXTREMELY reliable internet service so she can respond to her students. We are going to bring our service. After research, we have almost decided on xcom global mifi (www.xcomglobal.com) but I wanted to know if anyone here has used the service in Normandy or the UK.

(I am x-posting this on UK and France Board as well.)

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Debbie

(I will be back with more questions/advice later!)

Your worries are misplaced.... many hotels / b&b's have free wifi. If you want to host muti-participant video conferencing than maybe not, but for staying in touch and answering email etc etc there's no need to overcomplicate things.
