What do you consider too expensive?

We dont really want to spend more than £160 for the three nights. We're not really sure about the City Center apart from Mitte is there anywhere else you would recommend?

Thanks for all your help :)

Mitte is quite huge area, so for me "city centre" mean up to 15 min walk to Museuminsel if you like culture and 15 min walk to KaDeWe if you like shopping. Besides, public transport is so good, that if you find any accomodation in Mitte, Kreuzberg, Charlottenburg or Prenzlauer Berg close to U-Bahn station, every destination will be in 15-20 minute distance.
