The additional 15€ for the "safari" is for an upclose and personal version of the tour, includes feeding Giraffes and entering some of the enclosures on a private tour of no more than 20 other guests.

Its "Safari Serengeti" on this link http://www.selwo.es/en/interactions

Car parking is 3€ per car, and was when on our last 2 visits, Oc 12 and march 12. Friends of mine went last week and were not told of the "free" transport, only about the upgraded 15€ version.

There is a bus from Malaga but it calls at all the towns on route taking 3 hours from start to finish. If you drive stay on the coast road after Marbela and get off at km162 and its on your right. Signposts are no bigger than a shoe box its easily missed. If you do get the toll road from Marbella towards Estepona it takes you beyond the safari.

Well worth a visit.

I think they are trying to encourage people to spend more money to improve things but it might well backfire on them if they don't mention that the rides on the trucks can be free as people may not be able to afford to pay the extra €15 per person on top of the entrance fee. Some of the recent reviews have mentioned they have made the park smaller and you can no longer take your own food so I'm not sure they will gain a lot more visitors with that one.

I'll stick with my Monte Aventura trip this year I think.
