Due to renovations tickets are sold online only, no standing in line at the moment. Only in case a person booked the wrong date they might offer their ticket. Small chance, but you never know.
There's no reselling, but they do continue to release tickets, so keep checking. You can also purchase an Introductory Presentation ticket instead. If you scroll down on the first tickets page at the website.Edited: 10 February 2018, 01:06
Tickets for the introductory program are sold out for next weekend also. Your only chance at getting tickets is to keep checking the Anne Frank house website every day until the day you leave Amsterdam, to see if more tickets are released. Best time to check is around 9AM (local time in The Netherlands) as that seems to be the time that tickets are released. Check for both normal tickets as well as for tickets to the Introductory program.
Thanks so much. Very helpful
if this was the case, do you know where they would offer their ticket for re-sale? Do you think it's worth it to go to the museum to see if anyone is trying to re-sell their tickets?Edited: 10 February 2018, 03:39
Tickets to the Anne Frank house are timed tickets for a specific timeslot. If someone would be having extra tickets and would be wanting to sell them, I would think they will be going to the Anne Frank house at the time mentioned on those tickets. So if you would just happen to be there at that particular time, you would be lucky. However there is no way of knowing if there is going to be someone who wants to sell their extra tickets. Or do you plan to hang outside the Anne Frank house all day long?
Honestly, your best bet at getting tickets is to keep checking the website.
We booked 3 tickets (one youth, two adults) to the Anne Frank House on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 20:00 (8pm). We cannot make the trip and are happy to sell them for cost to anyone that will use them. Must have a paypal or venmo account to pay for them. They cost E24 (24 euros).
I'd be happy to take those off your hands, the adult tickets, anyway.
OK please email me directly at email@example.com so we can coordinate. Thanks!
Good to see you helping out another fellow TA member. :))
