Can you suggest an apartment near the beach in Choeng Mon? Or suggest a web page I could find apartments that are out for rent for a short period of time?
We are staying in Ko Samui 1st of December until 11 of December with hubby, 1 yo and 3 yo children. Would love to find a bit bigger room than the hotel rooms have to offer, maybe for 1700 baht a night or so.

I think this is a big ask considering the time of year and price range you are willing to pay. I had a look at Booking.com and there isn't much at all in Choeng Mon in your price range that is an apartment. Are you willing to look at other areas?
Agree, ^ that's not going to be an easy find in Choeng Mon ... even during the rainy season which you are heading into.
Perhaps double your budget or look for a hotel/ resort in a different area, but that not going to be too easy in other areas either.
Edited: 4 years agoIf Horizon is out of your price range, the other two places I can think of (but not in Choeng Mon) is Samui Emerald Condotel - this is in Plai Laem and about a 5 minute drive max to Choeng Mon and Replay Condotel which is at the far western end of Bangrak beach. Both of these would probably have rooms/apartments within your price range.
On Airbnb for those dates in horizon they start at around 1000thb a night. Just search for choeng mon and you will see

Just looked and a 2 bedroom called Daniels place is around 1600 and last re owe had 2 small children on Airbnb
