Regional Train from Civitavecchia

I understand it's possible to book a regional commuter train ticket online now from Civitavecchia to St Peter's Basilica. My question is that once the ticket is booked and for some reason I missed the train, do I have the option to take the next regional train which is 30 minutes later using the same ticket? Do I need to ask the sales office to modify the ticket?

You can get on any other regional train making the same run and leaving within the amount of time written on the pdf (it's usually 4 hours). You don't need to make anything at the counter.

Do you have internet access on board? If so you could install trenitalia's app and purchase the ticket when you are about to get off the ship.
