Positano for 4 days the onto Rome. Suggestions for transfer

Hi we are first timers in Positano and arrived today.

Is Capri worth the effort/cost?

We love walking, food, and architecture. We prefer simple things as opposed to the big ticket items and long waiting lines. Any suggestions for must does would be greatly appreciated.

Also what's the best way to get to Rome from Positano?

Thanks Konrad

Capri is a lovely day trip especially this time of year when the crowds are less than during the summer months. And not a major cost when you take the ferry.

Thanks for your information. That’s exactly what we’ve decided to do too. Our driver from Positano to Naples suggested stopping in Pompei on the way for a couple of hours. Total cost for two with the stop 150euros. We had the same driver on the way down and he was excellent. Fast train from Naples to Rome.

We will be coming from Florence down to Positano and would like to also do a stop in Pompeii. Can you provide the link to your driver's company? We'd like to see what it would be for the five of us and if they have a van.

Hello. Can I get info on your driver please? Or how you found him? We will be visiting in April. Rome to Bari then to Positano and back to Rome. Would appreciate any insight you may have. This is my first trip abroad.
