Itinerary ideas when pregnant?

We are heading to Pt Douglas on Sunday for a baby-moon. I'm 30w pregnant and not that agile!! So we will be having a relaxing break which isn't what we are used to. We have 4 full days and 4 nights (actually 5 but won't get in til later), staying at the QT and have hired a car. Any ideas for things we could do so we get to see some sights but that will be suitable for being quite pregnant? I'm not keen to go to the GBR this time, but maybe a smaller trip/cruise? Plus any driving trips or must eats? Thanks :)

AdventuresPD, it is against TripAdvisor rules to post links to your own business website. Your reply does have lots of good info so why don't you repost it without the link?

Hi Stacey, congratulations on the occasion, you couldn't have picked a better place for a babymoon.

When you're not chilling out relaxing by the pool or enjoying some shopping, there's still plenty to do around Port Douglas even when pregnant.

We highly recommend a beautiful sunset sail for a couple of hours soaking up the sights on the water, experiencing the Daintree rainforest with an indigenous guide or a river drift snorkel gliding through the magnificent rainforest.

If you fancy a nice drive then head out to Daintree Village for lunch and a look around and make sure you visit Mossman Gorge, which is easy to access and well worth it.

There's also plenty of awesome freshwater swimming holes if you want to do your own thing, just ask a local and they'll point you in the right direction.

In regards to dining options, we recommend Flames of the Forest if you'd like to literally dine in the rainforest, Salsa is the locals' favourite for great food and service, Nautilus is magnificent fine dining tropics-style or try SeaBean if you're like us and a sucker for good tapas. If you get up to Cape Tribulation make sure to try Whet restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Happy travels...
