As I only plan to visit Freycinet and Cradle lake national park, does it mean that buying the individual pass is more wothhwhile? ($24/car X2)

I need to know how many people are in your group to work it out as you want to go to Cradle Mountain. Note that a standard vehicle day pass is not valid for Cradle Mountain. Unless you have purchased a Holiday Pass, a per-person pass is required to include the cost of the shuttle.

It may be simplest for you to read the relevant page: http://www.parks.tas.gov.au/?base=914

Hi,

For the sake of a few dollars you might as well get the Holiday Pass. From Cradle Mt to Freycinet you will pass more National Parks on your journey, and you might have time to drop in for a visit.

Safe travels - Robert
