I'm planning a trip to Perth and Margaret River area in November with friends, we will be a party of 4 adults and have 6-7 nights, we live in Singapore so jet lag won't be a problem thankfully.
We plan to spend the first 2 nights in Perth so will have an afternoon then a full day sightseeing there and then on day 3 drive down to MR area.
A friend has suggested we base ourselves in Dunsborough for the remaining 4 nights. We want to do some wine tasting, sightseeing, whale watching and walking.
Is 4 nights in Dunsborough too long, is there enough to do or should we have 2 nights there and 2 nights somewhere else, if so where would you suggest?
Also have you any recommendations for great winery tours and wineries to visit and maybe eat at? Plus are there other things we really must do whilst in the area? Many thanks
