Finding a good holiday apartment to rent

My husband and I are planning a trip to Budapest Sept 2014. We have visited Budapest 3 times before and love it. However we have always stayed in hotels, twice on the Buda side and last time on the Pest side. We would like to stay on the Pest side again but fancy self catering for a change. Can anyone advise on good apartments/companies?. We want a one bedroom apartment in the heart of pest district 6 maybe? We have looked on the Owners Direct site but wondered about any recommendations anyone might have. Thanks for helping. Judy.

Hello Judy

You may also want to look at http://vrbo.com or at http://homelidays.com also look at http://airbnb.com and http://wimdu.com all solid sights.

Using there available search filters and looking at their reviews should help you find somewhere suited to your budget and requirements.

Hi Norioopta!

Did you find them to be reliable etc? I have looked on their website and there are some nice apartments. But I have heard that the advertising is not always up to date? Thanks. Judy.

only-apartments.com/en/…

Hi Judy, we stayed at this apartment in 2011 for 1 month. Great location and good price. Just note that the bed is on a mezanine and its a mattress only. Apart from that we had the best time?
