24 hours in Tallinn

Hello, I will be making a quick stop in Tallinn in early April. In looking at images, it called to me. Are there any, "musts" to see/experience? I am looking to try authentic Estonian food and drink during the visit. Thoughts much appreciated. Thank you!

Explore the Vanalinn (Old Town) on foot, stop at numerous cafes/restaurants in this picturesque area, e.g. around the central Town Hall square especially, and climb up to inner city (Toompea) for a beautiful seaward view of the city. Have fun!

Dianne T has covered the basics well. I also suggest a visit to the KGB Museum (book in advance) or the KGB Prison Cell Museum. You can get good Estonian cuisine at the Kuldse Notsu Kõrts (Golden Piglet Inn). Older traditions are to the fore at Ye Olde Hansa, a medieval-themed restaurant.
