catholic church in Akaroa

Am looking for a second Catholic Church to attend Mass on a Sunday. We arrive there from our cruise ship at 0800 and no way can we make the only Mass listed for Sundays at St Patricks in Akaroa. Anyone know of another Catholic Church with a later Mass? Am also looking for a good swim with the dolphins-have written to Black Cat tours twice and no reply. Am trying to do both Mass and the swim in one day before we return to the ship by 1700 hours...coming up very soon, please reply if you have any ideas..

Try St John the Evangelist at Little River. It's about half way to Christchurch and is your next nearest. Otherwise you'll need to go to Christchurch.

Sorry, don't think you'll be able to find another Catholic Mass and St. Patricks is the only Catholic Church in walking distance for you. I'm very surprised that Black Cat hasn't gotten back to you as they are normally very professional and responsive. Pretty sure that you can book right on their website though. www.blackcat.co.nz.

Enjoy Akaroa its really lovely!

St John's is earthquake damaged as are some of the other churches. There is only one Catholic Church in the area. Also surprised Black Cat haven't got back to you. Have you checked your spam folder? Hope you enjoy Akaroa.
