Fullers unless you are taking a vehicle over. Depending on where on Waiheke you are going.

Fullers are much better for the day tripper with no car. Ferries go from right in the city, there are half hourly sailings and they go to Matiatia Wharf which is walkable up to Oneroa village.

Sealink has limited sailings from the city (actually Wynyard Quarter and a bit of a walk down there) and ferries go to Kennedy Point. There would be a Waiheke bus to other places but KP is better if you are taking a car.

Fullers ferry for passenger services. Although they cant be relied upon to provide good service - if yesterday is anything to go by with late sailings, too many passengers and a broken down ferry in the midst.

If you are already staying in/near Pakuranga, then Sealink are fairly reliable. A lot of foot passengers are using Sealink from this terminal.

Depending on the time of travel, Fullers are offering half hourly sailings over peak summer months before they revert to their winter timetable with hourly daytime sailings.

Fullers would definitely be the best option for a trip to Waiheke island.

How far ahead should you show up for the ferry over there? Is there a car park near the ferry terminal? Can you go over to Waikeke without being on a tour and still see things? Thanks so much!
