We visited this park arriving on Dec. 27/15 and stayed until March 30/16, also having been there 2 years prior to that. It is a park with 1340 spaces, some occupied year round by people who own park models and mobile homes in the park, and the balance is for motorhomes, 5th wheel and travel trailers. The spaces for motorhomes etc. are quite large with nice cement pads for lawn chairs, BBQ's etc. The location of the park is convenient for shopping and groceries. Office staff are friendly and helpful in most cases. This basically outlines the positive aspects of the park.
If you want to experience daily sewer smell from the breather pipes, sewer water running in the streets, and poor water pressure then this is the park for you. Also, our site was supposed to be 30 amp electrical service and it was very inconsistent. It is a pet friendly park, however the rules indicate one pet not weighing more than 30 lbs. and most park visitors and owners have more than one dog, in some cases two or three. There was a continual problem with dogs doing their business wherever they pleased. Complaints to the office staff were met with "Well it is a pet friendly park". Maintenance staff who came to supposedly fix the breather pipes, were very rude, there was a lot of yelling and swearing going on aimed at owners of motorhomes who were there renting a spot for the winter. In the clubhouse there is a full sized kitchen which cannot be used, due to health and safety codes and the park owner not wanting to spend the money to fix the problems. All in all our experience there this past winter was very negative and frustrating. For personal reasons only we did stay for the three months that we had booked and paid for. We will
never return to this park again.
