Best Western Plus Stovall Inn

I have been looking at Images and Reviews re this Hotel online, and there are photos

and complaints about BED BUGS and how unclean the Hotel was.

These seemed to have been older posts. So am just wondering if these problems

are still being had or is the Hotel an ok place to stay whilst visiting Disneyland.

Appreciate any feedback as I am wanting to take my Sister there for her Birthday next Year

Nothing wrong with the BW Stovalls, it's well rated, and I would not be concerned by any old bedbug reviews. You never know if those are not posted just to make somewhere look bad.

But proximity to thinga including Disneyland is somewhat different now for the property as it's now about a 20 min walk to the turnstiles at Disneyland, and only a few restauranta nearby. But they do have the Art shuttle service stop which goes to and from Disneyland for a fee per person.

So if you want close walking distance under 7 min or so, youat want to look at the Best Western Park Place Inn.. Or BW Anaheim Inn, Camelot Inn, Anaheim Desert Inn....

Hi muzzareni,

One of the problems with reviews on the Internet is that only the people who've got a complaint ever write, and some of them have a serious ax to grind. They really hated the hotel so they've decided to exaggerate the problem so it sounds worse.

We have literally never had a complaint like that here in the forums.

However, the Best Western Stovall's Inn is not very convenient. It is a really, really long walk, or you have to pay each day to take the ART shuttle (www.rideart.org).

If you'll let us know your nightly total budget in US dollars, we can make general suggestions. It is, though, a bit too early to book many of the hotels for April 2019.

Thanks for your advice. Reviews seemed to indicate it was close. So I will check out the Hotels you

mentioned to see what they offer.

It used to be closer until they changed the entrance on that side of Disneyland. It’s now 20-25 minutes which may not be a long walk for some people but you can get a lot closer.

Really though, there are so many choices that if you have any doubts, choose something else. Of course if you’re just choosing based on price, that’s your call.

All the best.

There is a massive fence between the hotel and DCA that means you can’t walk straight there. The entrances to both parks are closer to Harbour Bvde. Here is a map of the walking routes as you don’t seem convinced.

>>>the Park the Hotel is. Max 10 Min walk?<<<

Not even close. In the old days when you could walk through the Grand Californian it was a minimum of 20 minutes, now it is closer to 25 or more if you go down Disneyland Drive.

>>>By the photos it looks to be nearer to California Adventure Park <<<

Nope.

The two entrances are in the exact same location. An esplanade divides the two entrances.

The Stovall's is fine as a hotel, but there are much better locations for walking to the park and for dining choices.
