Daughter 18 and me 5 days. First time San Pedro

Hi. I’d appreciate your recommendations for fun activities in nature- not parasailing or zip lining.

And authentic Belizean culture and food. Street food and locally owned places, esp. thanks :)

Lots of street vendors set up around the town center park. Food vendors can be found throughout San Pedro. There are very few chains outside the Hilton & Marriott properties in San Pedro. There is a new Margaritaville resort far north on Ambergris & that’s about it for the chains.

We have been several times, and have always done the catamaran tour to Caye Caulker with snorkeling on the way in Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley. It’s INCREDIBLE, and the quaint little island of Caye Caulker is totally worth spending an hour or 2 on.

That food tour is really good. I would do it at the beginning of your stay so you can go back and try more things at the places and have time to visit other places that they'll tell you about.
