Seeking Accommodation Recommendations

We will be visiting Victoria Falls next year with two children, both 10 years old. We are looking for accommodations on the Zim side where we can all sleep in the same room (two adults, two children),without being too crowded. Our budget is flexible. Your recommendations are appreciated!

Also, are there any activities in the area (besides game drives) that you would recommend, and are safe for children as young as 10 years?

Thank you!

I stayed at Bayete Lodge last year and was very pleased with it. There were at least two families with children in 8-11 age group there and I believe they have family suites that sleep 4. I liked the setting, lovely gardens, pool and open bar/ restaurant area. The food was good honest fare at a reasobnable price.

As for things to do, well the sunset cruise, walking the falls would definitely be ok for kids.

Also you can try Nguni lodge Victoria falls. Recently opened, they have family room that can accommodate two adults and two children under the age of twelve. Breakfast is inclusive, nice gardens, pool, Wi-Fi.

We recommend the Canopy Tour (ziplining) with Wild Horizons. I am not sure of their age restrictions, but I think 10 years old is okay. Great fun!

We've just come back from Vic Falls. I would recommend Lokuthula Lodges. I've just put up a review. It would be brilliant for a family, and although was a bit outside town, the free shuttle bus was excellent. The breakfast was included, and was really good, and we saw warthog in the grounds. You can see the vulture feed at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge and use most of their facilities.
