Don Muang Airport to Pattaya

I am flying to DMK Airport in November, and I am researching the options for traveling to Pattaya. Ideally I would like to take a bus, but not many bus options exist from DMK quite yet. Would a private taxi be my best bet?

PT Taxis recently quoted me 1200 TBT for a one way trip.

There are buses, but I will let others describe them for you, as I have not done this trip by bus.

What time at the airport?

Taxi to Morchit bus station. Bus to Pattaya from there.

Taxi to nearest Skytrain station. Skytrain to Ekamai bus terminal. Bus to Pattaya from there.

Got time to kill? Bus to Suvarnabhumi from Don Muang. At Suvarnabhumi take bus to Pattaya from there.

There are a few options to travel to Pattaya from Don Muang Airport. Taking a bus from Mo Chit Bus Terminal, Mini Van from Victory Monument or a straight taxi from the airport. One can even think of going to Suvarnabhumi airport to catch the bell travel bus from there.

This article has details on these options: desiyatri.com/2013/02/travel-from-don-muang-…

Hope it helps.
