Gifts for the Nagapeople in Myanmar

Dear travellers to Nagaland in Myanmar, I was there in November 2017 on a trekking from Lahe to remote villages. It was an beautiful but hard experience.

If you go there: please take something with you for the Nagapeople there. They live in primitive and harsh circumstances. Theres a big need of warm clothes for the children and also for notebooks and pencils!

Thanks for your valuable information. Yes , this place is really difficult to arrive not only local people but also foreigners. I will try to go there if I have a chance.

its not hard to visit, fly up to Khamti, ( or travel by the Chindwin river) than a 4-5 hour 4wd ride to Lahe

You are right! We have flown Mandalay-Hkamti, There we travelled further on the back of a motorbike.

It is cheaper and faster and made the whole trip more intense.

We came back by public boat Hkamti-Monywa

I think you should join with professional local guide . This is rough trip and take a long time to get there . But when you arrive at there , every tried you got along the way will disappear .
