Escalators or lifts

Hi all

Can you please tell me how i can find out which rail stations have lifts or escalators as i am recovering from knee surgery and trying to avoid stairs. I am going to stay in Insadong area at Sunbee Hotel and was looking at entry/ exit to Anguk and Jonggak stations and the best option. Many thanks

Subway Map:

Anguk - …seoul.go.kr/en/transport/subway_view.jsp…

no=149&Depth=21&searchLine=3&searchWord=

Jonggak - …seoul.go.kr/en/transport/subway_view.jsp…

You can click on the "elevator"/"escalator" link/button on the lower part

of the page for better view.

i.e. Jonggak - …seoul.go.kr/en/transport/subway_view.jsp…

You can search further on:

…seoul.go.kr/en/transport/subway_list.jsp…

Safe trip!

Here is the subway station map for both. Just keep in mind that, while you might not want to go up stairs, it might save you a LOT of walking to just take the stairs instead of going out of your way to another exit for an elevator.

For example, Jongkak Station is large. If oyu walk, to say, Exit 12 and your hotel is at Exit 1, that's at least 15 minutes of walking back and forth.

The escalators for Myeongdong Station are located at Exit 3 and Exit 7. They will take you to street level.
