Visa on arrival fee

Hello,

we are going for the 6th time to Kenya.

Other years we Always have the visa before we are going to Kenya.

This year we are taking the visa on arrival on the airport in Nairobi.

What is the fee for the visa? we are from Belgium(euro) can you pay with euro? and can you also pay with your credit card?

best regards

You can pay 40 Euros or 50 USD on arrival. You don't need to bring photos or anything else, but a pen helps since you'll have to fill out two cards.

Not sure about the current situation with credit cards.

I don't think you've ever been able to pay with credit card, just hard foreign currency.

There are copies of the visa application form in the Arrivals Hall, they also often give them out on the plane before landing or you can download and print it from here :

But you will also have to fill out an Arrivals Card, as you say you have to do this whether or not you already have a visa. They usually give this out on the plane as well.

Hi,

Can anyone conform that it is still possible to pay for visa on arrival in Euro? I forgot to bring cash USD, so it would be very convenient if I could pay in cash Euro. And otherwise, would I be able to change cash Euro for USD at a forex office before getting my Kenyan visum?

Thanks for replying,

Kind regards,

Yes, it is still possible to pay for visa on arrival with USD, EUR, GBP or CHF. Value-vise, currently the best option is to pay with GBP (30 GBP for single entry visa)

You need to pay in cash, either USD, Euros and no, they don't take Visa, it is very easy to pay at the airport when you go through immigrations. I did it online and would not recommend doing that.

Does anyone have a link to the arrivals card you'd fill in?

I'm trying to do all the paperwork in advance.
