Hotel Boutique Maya will not feel Nica either. Its a mansion is the affluent suburb outside of any local-ish neighborhood. And it costs just as much as a Best Western or other type.

I would recommend something like Art Hotel.

La Bicicleta Hostel is nice, and out of the city if you still wanna be out there.

Or Casa De Las Abuelas for a legit nica feel.

Or go straight to Granada. Why two nights in Managua? Unless you have a lot of time.

As Sonia Mentioned Go straight to Granada is only 45 minutes away and start exploring places there as the islets, Mombacho or Masaya Volcano, Apoyo crater lake, white towns, the hotsprings. etc.

Would it be easy to arrange transportation to Granda from the airport in Managua at 1 a.m.? Curious because I will be arriving at a similar time.

yes. you can take a taxi from the airport, or in front of the airport, which will be cheaper.

Or you can arrange transport through a hotel in granada, as most will have shuttle prices, or work with taxi drivers that they can arrange.
