Hi, is it normal that when you book a hotelroom directly from Robinsons website (http://reservations.robinson.com), you have to pay your reservation through very strange payment link or give your credit card number with signature and send that via e-mail? This doesn't sound very safe. in other hotels, I have always made the payment upon arrival at the hotel. I'm afraid this might be a scam because the payment link doesn't look trustworthy.

Robinson is part of the TUI group, so one might guess that they are legitimate.

Payment may depend in part of what the hotel you are booking a package with requires. Some hotels you pay through the agency, some hotels collect payment in advance directly, some wait until you check in.

What is the domain of the "strange payment link" (not the entire thing, just the bit between 'htps://' and the first '/')?

Hotels haven`t previously requested credit card information from us via e-mail and we have travelled a lot. Payment link looked like this: http://pgw.2c2p.com and that caused astonishment. Maybe this is a normal process in Thailand :D
