HI there.

Yup Betong is extremely safe. Even if you want to go there through Pengkalan Hulu is really safe. Nothing to be worried about.

Back in Betong u cant expect much coz its a small town...and of coz its an entertainmnet hub. No one can deny that. Im sure u can get alot of good hotels from Budget to 3 star status. But the prices there very reasonable too.

When comes to activities...what else u can expect.. ladies...booze and shows. Lots of Karaoke's.... Bars and also Techno's are opened at Betong.

Food is ereally delicious and of coz u can easily get food from anywhere...even Chinese and Indian food easily available there. Prices are cheap

compare to KL.

Shopping...nothing great if you compare with Haatyai. But lots of new projects took place in town. Maybe in future lots of shopping complexes or boutiques will be opened in Betong.

Im very sure u will enjoy the trip to Betong...coz i have been there since 2006...and im still going there bcoz its a truly amazing entertainment hub back in Southern Thailand.
