We(my wife daughter and me) are travelling from Singapore to KL on 8th Jun(Saturday) early morning, it is a school holiday weekend.
I was wondering if I should just show up and book tickets at Larkin on the spot, instead of booking I'm advance. I am afraid causeway jam and I might miss any pre booked bus, or I might reach way to early.
So would it be possible to book on the spot and catch the next available bus?
For a school holiday weekend, I personally wouldn't take any risks.
At least you won't be left guessing if you pre-book.
I had a look at easybook.com and there are so many buses which ply on JB-KL route. I would be surprised if there is zero availability. Maybe I will monitor the availability of tickets on the previous 2 weekends and see how it looks.

1 helpful vote While 8th Jun is school holiday in Singapore, it is not in Malaysia. Although the border crossing will most likely see an increase in traffic, I doubt that the buses to KL will be affected much.
Take note that if you buy the bus tickets online, you will have to get the boarding passes printed out at the counter, and pay a RM2 fee per ticket.
