P.S. Tanjung Gemok also runs ferries to Tioman. Have a go there eh. Not sure of the operators there, though, as we always go by Mersing.

I usually do not pre-booked the speedboat ticket from Mersing to Tioman.

it will be best to arrive Mersing in the morning before noon, you should be able to get the ticket from the counter without problem.

have a look at this site.

http://wikitravel.org/en/Pulau_Tioman

which has a time schedule of blue water express.

I usually take a direct coach from Singapore and then get a speedboat to Tioman.

Rosis, I doubt that this post is in time for you. But at least other Tioman travelers will be able to reap the benefits.

You can now book your ferry tickets in advance, online, so even when you're still abroad.

IThe site is www.tiomanferry.com

It looks like they're in the process of adding credit card payment too, so all the stress of waiting to see if there's any ferry tickets left after arriving at Mersing are over.

I hope this is of help.
