Looking at options to see if a visit to orangutan island is possible. Is a bus there and back possible? I could potentially go on to Penang from ipoh, stopping off at orangutan island.
Any suggestions welcome.
Not sure if there is public bus that goes there direct so I would say a bus from Ipoh, Amanjaya to Kamunting, Taiping then by grab to the Bukit Merah Laketown where the Orang Utan Island is. Or Grab direct from Ipoh to Laketown if you can get one to response to your Grab hailing.
From Penang, likewise try a Grab or an express bus from Penang Sentral, Butterworth.
