Hi mingalabarAustralia,

Life still go on as usual but you will not be able to buy Malay restaurant food(all closed up during fasting time)

But plenty of Indian and chinese restaurants around.

KFC and Macdonald still operate normal 7/24 service.

Cheers

Actually the Malay restaurant will still be open during Ramadan but in the evening after the fasting hour. Usually during this time of year, there will be Malay hawker stalls set up at certain area of the street/town in Malaysia.

Hi the big difference is the number of people in eateries after 5.30pm. The buffets at the major hotels are amazing and worth looking into but you must book.
