The best choice by Putra LRT.

From

Ampang Park > KLCC > Kampong Baru> Masjid Jamek >Central Market >KL Sentral > Abdullah Hukum .Drop off here and you can take taxi or bus..the journey will take 15 minutes only.

Catching the LRT is a little complicated, not like the MRT in SG. Also during rush hours, the trains are sardine-packed (I know you're thinking: MRT also like that what!) ... KL's LRT is a world of its own! So, why not catch a cab ... fare by meter: no more than RM15. If the cabbie refuses the meter, and you feel like bargaining, go no more than RM20. Catching a cab back from Midvalley is a lot easier, cabbies do use the meter (if you prefer an Executive cab, just flag one from Gardens Mall, which is just across from Midval ... fares will be more expensive: easily RM30 to RM40 but it's a nicer ride because it's a bigger cab).

Hello polly, its really simple. There is a station right in front of your hotel. Take the train to the direction KL Sentral/Bukit Bintang. Upon arrival at KL Sentral, alight, take the escalator downstairs and exit the gates. Walk towards the KTM Kommuter lines and take another KTM Train line towards SEREMBAN/SErdang. You need to get another KTM ticket. Midvalley is only one stop away from KL Sentral but you might have to wait up to 15mins for the KTM Kommuter train because its not as frequent as the MRT. Again:

Raja Chulan (towards KL Sentral) - Exit Kl Sentral- Change to KTM Line towards Seremban/Serdang- exit Midvalley.

Come out of the train and take the pedestrain bridge right into Midvalley mall.

Here is a map if you need (not so accurate because Midvalley stop is not written there. It is between KL Sentral and Seputeh).

The train tickets shouldn"t cost you more than RM4 one way. Have fun shopping in KL!

Hi Polly,

Instead of getting down at KL Sentral, get off at the next station which is Bangsar. Get a cab, its not more than RM3.00. Or if you dont mind waiting, there is a free shuttle to mid valley. I think the shuttle is 30min once. If you still want to take the KTM from KL Sentral, be prepared for the crowd!! It can be pretty scary, esp if its during office hours or weekends, and esp if there is a delay in the train. Which is quite often.
