There's a fishing tackle shop near the Maharajalela monorail station, on the main road. It's on the right side of the road if you are going towards Bukit Bintang from Maharajalela station, and you can easily see the shop when you are on the monorail.

The ones at Jln Maharajalela, Fish Hunters & the one next door (Great Ono?) have closed and don't know where they have relocated to. Sabre tackles is still there but personally never been there.

Good tackle shop close to KL city would be in Pudu along Jalan Pudu called Young Enterprise. There is another tackle shop a further block away.

Young Enterprise (the proprietors were probably young when they 1st opened for business!) is accessible by taxi or the STAR rail line; Pudu stop/station. It's next to the fire station and opposite the Pudu wet market.

One of KL's best tackle shop is Kepong tackle but that is in the Kepong suburb, a little too far if you don't have private transportation.

Mike

If you are after fly fishing gear - forget KL.

Singapore is great - LOTS of fishing tackle shops along Beach Road.
