Long Term Stay in Ankara?

Long Term Stay in Ankara?

My wife and I will be moving to Ankara, Turkey soon for a project that will take longer than a year. We DON'T want to RENT a flat. We find it too much of an hassle, especially abroad!

We signed our share of contracts with crazy landlords...

This time we would like to stay at a LONG-TERM STAY HOTEL where we can pamper ourselves a bit. Is there a hotel like this in Ankara?

Ohh before i forget...It's kitchen should be equipped with REAL house appliances. In Paris we stayed in this apartment hotel that had a ''kitchenette'' with an old micro-wave and a dusty counter! Thats not our understanding of an Apartment Hotel :)

Thank you

Mark, since you do not want to rent a flat, what you are looking for is an "apart hotel", with a kitchen. Here are two apart hotels for you with their reviews: "https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g29…", and "https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g29…". Especially pay more attention to posters with multiple reviews.

Send them an email and deal directly with the hotel. I am sure they will give you a good rates.

I personally would rent a furnished apartment that would include utilities (some landlords do that) if you are going to stay more than a year. Here are nice furnished residences at good neighborhoods, mostly 1 but also a few 2 bedrooms, all at 700 USD or less. "https:/…". You can not get those rates at apart hotels.

good luck,

enigma...

Dear Enigma;

Apart Hotel Best looks like a nice place... It's cheap as well.

Turkish Lira is weak these days so I think I can afford a little luxury :)

Thank you for your recommendation.
