Bus to Buenos Aires

Hello does anyone know how much a bus would cost from Florianopolis to Buenos Aires. I searched what looks like quite a good Brazillian bus information website;

Here it states the price of the 25 hour journey as 224.50. I am assuming that this price is Brazillian Real (BRL) but just wanted to double check.

Hi Greg,

You are perfectly correct, the price is R$ 224,50 for a 25 hours jouney and the bus company is Pluma, but you might find others companies with a little difference in the price, specially if the bus is a "leito bus"or a kind of bed-seat, that reclines almost completely.

If you go to Buenos Aires and return to Florianopolis by airplane you will pay the same amount of money, about 230 reais, flying with GOL Linhas Aereas. Much faster and less tiring than bus.

But if you go to Buenos Aires and don't return to Floripa (one-way flight) the cost of the ticket will be more expensive.

Try to go by airplane, even if it is a bit more expensive.

The bus trip is not exactly uncomfortable, but, if it is not so much cheaper, don´t worth it because we won´t experience a good landscape or any other nice view turing the trip.
