Hi,

You've posted in the Bawiti forum (have to admit, have never heard of it before!) And it's only by chance that I saw it.

You will do better to read the larger forums, like Sharm (Na'ama Bay is the central part of that resort.)

We (4 of us) have been to Sharm 5 times, we go B+B & stay in Na'ama Bay itself. We have never had an upset tum. The AI hotels seem (to me) to have more of a problem with upset tums & especially in the hotter months.People do get worried when reading thru the forums but it isn't necessarily "going to get you". One lady has been over 17 times & never had a problem. I've toured Egypt & done 2 Nile cruises; only had a problem once & that was over 20 yrs ago on a Nile cruise.

There are tips to help prevent it but sometimes, it's down to the luck of the draw.

I wouldn't visit Egypt in the hotter months cos of the heat & cos of the tummy bugs increasing.Feb should be very pleasant.

I'll give you the link to the Tips thread, at the top of all the topics, plus the resort maps, so you can x-refer where hotels are in relation to Na'ama Bay, Nabq & what's called Old Sharm (built in the 1980's as opo the 1990's, when Na'ama developed) It's about 40 mins by taxi from one end of the resort to the other.

Re: the section in the tips thread about upset tums, see what suits you & you can always chate to your gp about the medication mentioned & his recommendations.
