i am planning to book via Traveltriangle.com (Verma Global Services). They are economical, accommodating and customizing the trip as per my need.
Anyone else have used traveltriangle.com?
Planning to book it via antilog...travelling from Mumbai on 12th Dec... but still confused with respect to hotels
Antilog Vacation is good too, But its bit 1k-2k more than travanya.
Tarisa resort is very good. My friends had been there and gave me very good reviews. Its one of the few resorts with Indian restaurants.
Good in 3 star hotels.
Hey.. I am confused about Anti-Log Vacations. They are providing rates 10% lesser than Thomas Cook/Makemytrip.
Anybody used Antilog vacations, Pls share your reviews.
I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Antilog vacations and lost about 12k in the process. Read about it here.
In my opinion, they are a completely shady operator. They promise awesome rates, take an advance and then book cheaper options or cut corners on travel etc. If you catch them at this before your trip, you escape by only losing your advance(like my case) but if you don't find this out and go on the trip, then you will end up with a ruined vacation like the below reviewers (whom I spoke to before I lost money with Antilog :( )
Look for a review by YSSUNIL. In fact, see a few posts later and you will see posts by me (a more naieve me) going ahead with Antilog and then finally having to change my mind.
Also, this post
Feel free to ping me, I will be more than happy to share actual emails/phone recordings highlighting their fraud.
I am also happy to help with any other questions about Mauritius from my limited travel there. :) It is a lovely place, enjoy it!
Side note to Tarisa:
The hotel appropriated part of the public seafront road last year (closed it and then grassed it over this year so as to be able to say they had direct beach access)
The new government is investigating whether this was legal or not and may reappropriate that part of the road which Tarisa took.
So they may not have direct beach access for much longer.
Just a heads up.
