I'll be in Aguas Calientes in late May and our current plan is to wing it and find a hotel once we arrive. Is this advisable?
If you just want a basic room you'll have no trouble finding one although it's easier to book in advance. I'd recommend Gringo Bill's on the plaza.
You better book in advance.
The place now is already quite full.
Walking around AC with your bags going up and down stairs is not
recommended at all.Edited: 27 April 2010, 10:58
hmmm...so I'm getting mixed responses. The three of us traveling are young and fit and should be able to walk around to multiple locations if necessary. And we're not looking for anything fancy. So it sounds like we'll probably be ok. I will think about it more.
