Recommended hotel and what area?

We are spending 4 days in Delhi later this month. What hotels would people recommend? And in what area? We are currently travelling around a lot and end our trip in Delhi so would like a nice hotel to relax a little before heading home and treat ourselves...maybe even an outdoor pool if there are some resorts centrally.

We will be relying on rickshaws, metros, taxis and buses so need to be within a short distance of most of the tourist areas.

Thanks in advance

Connaugt Place would best area for tourist. Palace Height , The Metropolitan , Shangrila and Imperial are good hotel in vicinity of CP.

If you looking a little cheaper hotels then can stay in Karol Bagh area which is not very far from Connaught Place. Hotel Jivitesh , Wood Castle, Florence are good hotel in Karol Bagh.

Hi !

New Delhi is quite a large city with land-mark sight-seeing places scattered all over the city.

You may also consider Paharganj area for hotel accommodation. It's quite close to New Delhi Railway Station as well as Metro Station. There are lot of dining options and hotels suiting different budgets (no star hotels). You get Cycle-Rikshaw, Auto Rikshaw and taxis too. It's quite convenient.

This is off season time and try to pick a hotel in connaught place. I hope you can get very cheap rates in The Metropolitan, The park or in The Lalit with outdoor pool.

From these hotel you have all kind of transportation is close by.

If you are looking for Hotel with an outdoor swimming pool. A 4* or 5* based in Connaught Place is a good option. The Metropolitan, The Park, Shangri La, Le Meridien and The Imperial could be good options

At Karol Bagh, you will most come across Budget / 3* hotels will the basic amenities.

Hi, we stayed at the Lalit, which is about a 10 minute walk to Connaught place and would definitely stay there again.
