You could hire a car. I dont think there are any direct flights from Kathmandu into Bagdogra airport. Or you could take a flight from Kathmandu-Delhi, and then Delhi - Bagdogra, and take a car to Sikkim.

you could either catch a night bus from kathmandu to kakarvitta (border town) or taker a flight from kathmandu to vadrapur . from kakarvitta you can take a local jeep to gangtok direct .

ah from vadrapur domestic aeroport u could hire a taxi to kakarvitta or there are some local jeeps .

vehicles for sikkim/gangtok can be found en face to the boder check point of nepal .

from kakarvitta to gangtok its about 5 hrs journey
